South Atlanta HMS

The South Atlanta School of Health and Medical Science is committed to the preparation of students for immediate entry into the workforce, higher education, careers in health sciences, biotechnology, and biomedical and scientific research.  The curriculum will provide an increased understanding of health and conditions which compromise health while seeking to promote lifelong learning among students and instilling a commitment to serve the communities where they live and work. 

The students at the South Atlanta School of Health and Medical Science will be provided with the best education toward achieving their goals with integrated technology in all classrooms, as well as field experiences that will help mold them into the excellent citizens of our next generation.

  • Superintendent Search Committee community meetings

    The Superintendent Search Committee will hold community meetings at schools in every cluster. The purpose of the meetings is to obtain input regarding the profile for the next superintendent.  The meeting dates and locations are listed below. All meetings will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

     

    ·       May 15: North Region meetings will be held at Harper-Archer MS, the Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy and Sutton MS.

    ·       May 16: South Region meetings will be held at Long MS and Price MS.

    ·       May 20: West Region meetings will be held at Brown MS, Bunche MS and Young MS.

    ·       May 21: East Region meetings will be held at Inman MS and King MS.
