Greetings! 

Welcome to the School of Health Science and Nutrition Social Studies webpage.  I look forward to serving all students in World Geography and American Government this year.  We will closely examine the physical and cultural geographical aspects of the seven regions of the world in World Geography and build map reading skills that will be essential for passing the Georgia High School Graduation Test in Social Studies during students’ junior year.  During the second semester in American Government, we will analyze the foundations of the American government system, rights, responsibilities, and duties of American citizens, and the function of the various branches and levels of government.  I pledge to do all that I can to ensure every student’s success in social studies during their freshman year of high school.  Please check this page frequently for updates on projects and social studies resources.
