Sutton Middle School 2012-2013

Procedures for Completing Applications to Non-APS Schools

 

  1. Teacher/Counselor recommendation forms and transcripts requests will be collected in the Counseling Suite between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm.

 

  1. Please do not send or give your child’s forms to his/her homeroom teacher or any other teacher/administrator.  Make sure all forms get in the hands of your child’s counselor.  The counselor will then distribute and collect the forms from the respective teachers.

 

  1. Please provide a 10x13 manila envelope for each requested set of transcripts and recommendation forms.  Address each envelope to the school(s) for which the forms are intended, and please place a minimum of 4 stamps on each envelope. 

 

  1. Fulfilling requests for transcripts and staff recommendation forms in a timely manner is an extra expense for Sutton Middle School.  Therefore, we must pass the costs along to the families requesting transcripts.  We charge a fee of $10.00 per school to which you are applying.  We will accept cash or money order only. 

 

  1. Please provide the staff with at least a two week turn around time. (Be mindful of each school’s deadline dates)
