8th grade / Teacher Bio

Hello!

My name is Kari Strong. I am a 10 year veteran educator. I have experience teaching all subjects in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. My passion is for teaching struggling learners. Currently I am the Lead Teacher for Special Education here at Young. I believe that all students have a desire and can learn. Here at Young Middle School we are dedicated to ensuring that all students have an opportunity to benefit from a quality education. I attended the State University of West Georgia where I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology. I earned my teaching cerification in Georgia State University. Later I furthered my education in at Argosy University in Professional Counseling. I am a wife and mother of 4 children.
