2016 EAGLE Candidate
The Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) Program celebrates adult learners in pursuit of excellence. The program recognizes and honors students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in statewide adult education classes. Each year an outstanding Adult Education student is selected from each Service Delivery Area as a candidate to represent that local program at the state EAGLE Leadership Institute. From this group, one student is selected as the Georgia EAGLE Awards winner.
Our 2016 EAGLE Candidate is Pia Stallworth. Pia is a 2015 graduate of the Adult Education program. She is currently pursuing enrollment in the field of Nutrition and Health Science. Pia is married, and the proud mother of one daughter and her true inspiration, grand-daughter Olivia. She has a passion for educating others on nutrition. Pia is presently serving as the “Building Better Health Captain” at her place of employment where she challenges co-workers to eat better and exercise regularly. Pia represented our program at the 2016 EAGLE AWARDS March 14th thru 16th 2016.
