Ms. Coyne began her teaching career as a 4th grade teacher at Highlandtown Elementary School #215 in the Baltimore City Public School District. She later relocated and began her teaching career with Atlanta Public Schools at Continental Colony Elementary School as a 4th grade EIP teacher. Ms. Coyne’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Elementary Education from Nazareth College of Rochester in Rochester, New York. She then earned a Master’s Degree in Leadership in Education, with a Reading Concentration from The College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Coyne also completed the Aspiring Leaders Program while attending The College of Notre Dame and in conjunction with the Baltimore City Public School District. Ms. Coyne is currently enrolled at the University of Georgia where she is completing a Mathematics Education Specialist program. During her teaching career, Ms. Coyne has served as grade level chair, Design Team chairperson, and represented Heritage Academy as the Teacher of the Year during the 2010 – 2011 school year. Ms. Coyne is passionate about educating her students and is excited by all of their accomplishments! Her love of academics shows through in her teaching. |
