Meet the Principal
Mary Lin’s principal is Dr. Brian Mitchell, who has been at Mary Lin since 2006. Dr. Mitchell is dedicated to working with the students, teachers, parents and community so that the Mary Lin students have an optimal learning environment that promotes diversity and high student achievement. Dr. Mitchell attended SUNY Cortland for his undergraduate work in Early Elementary Education. He obtained his Master's Degree from Goucher College in Students at Risk. Dr. Mitchell acquired his Leadership Certificate from Georgia State, and in 2008 earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Principal Coffees, during which Dr. Mitchell provides an update and answers questions, are usually held on Fridays, once per month. Tours of the school are typically provided the last Tuesday of the month at 9:30 am. All prospective parents are welcome.
