Welcome to the College and Career Center

Post-secondary options start here. The College and Career Center’s doors are open to provide assistance in navigating through the process. The Center has a wealth of information available to the student and parent. Surveys are administered to start the process of identifying colleges, universities, interests, careers and goal setting. Students are then encouraged to do research to help narrow down their options. As the student progress through North Atlanta, the Center will provide appropriate guidance through handouts at each grade level. Facilitating the discovery process is the College and Career Center’s mission. Through this school resource our students and their families gain insight and information to successfully transition to life after NAHS.

Our offerings include:

Visits with college/university representatives from different colleges and universities through-out the United States, Canada,and Europe as well as performing/visual arts conservatories, and all branches of the military
Financial aid information, scholarships, transfer agreement resources and updates
Guidance throughout the college admissions process including assistance in the development of action plans, resume preparation, essay editing, application review, application fee waivers and interview coaching
Off-site visits to local college fairs, and regional colleges and universities.
On-site visits from organizations and busniess schools offering certification programs in many areas
Community and career-focused speakers and workshops
