About Value-Added Analysis: Informing Instruction, Improving Educator Effectiveness and Increasing Student Success—A Guide for Parents

               In Atlanta Public Schools, we are committed to having an effective teacher in every classroom. As part of the Effective 
               Teacher in Every Classroom initiative, our district is using multiple measures of data to inform learning and offer 
               professional development for educators. One of the new sources of data the district is using is called a “value-added measure.”
