Title I Funding

Title I funding comes from the United States Federal Government. The overall intent of the Title I program is to help all children have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging academic standards and assessments.

During the 2011-12 school year, the following will be funded at D. H. Stanton through Title l:

10 Promethean boards
6 iPads
Tutorial buses
Educational field trips for students
Teacher professional development instruction
Salary for Instructional coach to support the teacher effectiveness initiative
Salary for contractor supporting mathematics instruction
Parent Liaison salary
Attendance aide salary
Materials and supplies for teachers and parent liaison
