Dear Parents/Guardians & Students:

 

Welcome to the third grade webpage. We are the thriving third grade team. Ms. Butler, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Oyebanjo-Alamutu (EIP/ASP teacher).

We  look forward to having another successful year of improving academic for all students.  We am looking forward to a wonderful year providing instruction to your child.  We believe that all children can learn and that they are responsible for their own leaning and behavior.  All children have choices.  We are here to help your child make the best choices possible for his/her learning and behavior.  While we expect the best from your child, we will offer your child our best.

 

Our theme for this year is "A School Where Academic Excellence is the Norm."  In addition to increased rigor and academic gains, we have added emphasis on collaboration, communication, problem solving and conflict resolution. 

 

Please make sure that your child understands our school's rules and policies as contained in the student handbook.  Each student can achieve his/her instructional goals by actively participating, listening intently, asking questions for clarification, taking notes, and spending time studying for mastery during classroom instruction.
