Mary Lin
 
Mary Lin Elementary School is located in Candler Park and serves approximately 600 students in Kindergarten through 5th grades in the Candler Park, Inman Park, and Lake Claire communities. Mary Lin is one of the premier elementary schools within the Atlanta Public Schools system.
 
Mary Lin's student, teacher, and parent community is a tightly-knit group focused on ensuring that students have a pleasant, well-rounded experience during these extremely important years. Students are in class form 8am to 2:30pm, participating actively in reading and writing, math, science, social studies, Spanish, music, art and physical education classes. Teachers receive additional training focused on research-based best practices that utilize higher-level questioning using technology, differentiated instruction, and the relation of learning experiences to real life. Mary Lin teachers receive grants for additional classroom support from both external sponsors and from the active Mary Lin ParentTeacher Association and the Mary Lin Education Foundation.
