PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA):

Every Atlanta Public School has a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) whose goal is to bring together the interests of the parents, teachers and the school to support student achievement. We believe in maintaining a 'learning village' that provides a nourishing environment for all students. This atmosphere creates endless possibilities and allows our children to achieve their dreams. PTA is the united voice that speaks on behalf of our children to ensure they receive the highest quality of education.

 

WHAT DOES THE PTA DO?

  • Advocate to build relationships between the parents, teachers, students and the community
  • Supports and organizes school wide events
  • Provides a forum to discuss issues of importance for the best interest of our students
  • Provides volunteers needed to support school projects and events
  • Conducts fundraising to support school activities

 

HOW DO I JOIN THE PTA?

 

You can join the PTA by picking up a form in the front office, completing and leaving it along with the membership dues of $10.00 per member. Also, we can send a membership form via email if you contact us at centennialplacepta@gmail.com. Remember, your participation makes a positive impact on our students!

 

MEETINGS
 
To keep everyone informed, we have meetings throughout the school year. Our PTA meetings for the 2012-2013 school year will be held as follows: 
January 15, 2013
March 19, 2013
April 16, 2013

all meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m.. We look forward to seeing you!
