    Please Note: 

    Transportation is available to students living in pre-determined boundaries from their Power Up Summer Program host sites. The Atlanta Public Schools transportation policy dictates that bus stops are placed outside the shortest 1 mile navigation of elementary schools, and 1½ mile navigation of middle and high schools.  Students living less than the 1 mile or 1 ½ mile boundaries are assigned to the walk-zone. Read important walking safety tips here.

    Finch SOAR Summer Enrichment

    Finch SOARS summer enrichment program students will learn via engaging and hands on project based learning activities. The STEAM projects will incorporate Math, Science, Art, and Technology concepts. Projects will focus on real-world topics that provide authentic context for student learning. Weekly field trips and in school field trips will be provided for each student to reinforce concepts covered during the week in order for students to make connections.

    Perkerson Pre-K Summer Transition Program (STP)

    STP for rising kindergarteners is a full-day, 6 week summer program with a focus on language, literacy and math designed to reduce the achivement gap and increase school readiness. Students must need additional academic assistance prior to entering Kindergarten and the family must meet the income requirements (85% of the state median income).

    Perkerson STEAM Summer Camp

    STEAM Summer Camp will provide our students with innovative hands on activities while exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). Our STEAM Camp will be a fun and engaging four-week summer experience for rising 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.  Students will engage in daily STEAM block-making, building, creating and a variety of projects utilizing the engineering design process.

    Sylvan’s summer to EXPLORE AND MORE, We are doing things differently this summer! Bring your interests and curiosities to Explore and Experience the city of Atlanta with Sylvan Hills Middle School .  This is sure to be a summer you will remember!

    Sylvan Hills Summer Bridge

    The Sylvan MS Summer Bridge Program will assist students in making the transition from elementary to middle school prior to the first day of school.  Students will be exposed to the culture and norms of Sylvan MS as well as the school’s academic and social expectations.

    Carver Early College Summer Bridge

    The Summer Bridge Program will introduce rising 9th grade students to the Carver Early College experience. Students will sample the 9th grade core curriculum, learn college readiness skills, and participate in team building activities.
