We wanted to provide clarity about the process for securing signatures for the Department of Driver’s Services Certificate of Enrollment from the school. This form can be downloaded from the DDS website. It is required for any child under the age of 18 who is trying to get a learner’s permit or driver’s license. The student is to complete the top 2 sections of the form.
Effective January 21st,
- Students will bring the form to the registrar’s office on the 1st floor.
- There is a 24-hour turnaround time for completion of the form by the school officials.
- The form will be signed by a school official and then that official’s signature will be notarized by one of the 4 notaries public we have on staff.
- The form is only good for 30 days from the date it was signed.
As this is a time-consuming process for our staff and it requires them to take time away from other tasks, North Atlanta High School will now charge $3 per Certificate of Enrollment to be processed. This payment can be made electronically online or with cash only. Here is the link to the online payment.
If the payment is made in cash, the payment will be logged on a form and the money will be deposited at the end of every day. These funds will be directly deposited into the general local school funds account. These funds help support the day to day operations of the school.
