    • Cognia certified programs aim to promote scientific inquiry and engineering design, develop skill sets that transfer across career sectors, bolster students' capacity for critical thinking, and engage students deeply in their local community in ways that connect learning to the real world. Washington High School is the first traditional high school in Atlanta Public Schools to become STEM certified and the first with whole school certification designation.
