    Over the years, the Writing Center has hosted several competitions, workshops, and a book club.
    In 2013, we even started an Author Series, which consists of a series of regular installments of published and unpublished authors reading and discussing their works.

    Summer Creative Writing Workshop

     Every summer, the Writing Center hosts a 2-week-long creative writing workshop.
     In 2013, the focus was hip hop writing---though we covered several modes and genres,
     including the essay, short story, and poetry.
