My name is Mrs. Tatanisha Copeland and I am so excited to join the amazing faculty of Boyd Elementary as a school counselor. I have been a school counselor for 18 years and continue to love everything about my career.

My education includes a bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia, a master's Degree in School Counseling from Clark Atlanta University, and postgraduate studies in Counseling from The University of Alabama.  It is a privilege to serve our students on a daily basis. I love the field of counseling and find it a privilege to be able to serve students in this capacity.

I am constantly amazed as well as equally humbled at the lessons the students teach me every day.  Being able to provide Mindfulness strategies, classroom guidance lessons, and small group, and individual counseling sessions are just a few awesome components that I appreciate as a counselor. I look forward to working with our wonderful Boyd Elementary students this year.
