Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Jesse McNulty, Sr.
I have been teaching for more than 20 years. I am experienced in teaching students of all ages, from an array of home and institutional environments.
I secured my undergraduate degree in criminal justice, with hopes of serving young people in the Juvenile Justice system; I quickly realized that the majority of those young people, at some point, had been served by special education.
Soon after, I earned a Master’s Degree in Education in Special Education [EBD]. I have since obtained additional certifications, including the Gifted Endorsement, and Reading. I am prepared to individualize approaches to the many challenges students face, utilizing their strengths and addressing their weaknesses.
My goal is to guide students toward successful life outcomes through positive learning experiences, full of appropriate rigor and vigor. I believe in providing differentiation in the classroom, challenging students where they are and taking them to the next level.
I continuously study best practices for interrupting the school-to-prison pipeline by participating in social justice reform activism and by volunteering with the Georgia Safe Schools Coalition [GSSC].
I am a U.S. Army veteran, serving in W. Germany 1986 - 1989.
