Please Note:
Transportation is available to students living in pre-determined boundaries from their Power Up Summer Program host sites. The Atlanta Public Schools transportation policy dictates that bus stops are placed outside the shortest 1 mile navigation of elementary schools, and 1½ mile navigation of middle and high schools. Students living less than the 1 mile or 1 ½ mile boundaries are assigned to the walk-zone. Douglass Cluster STEAM Camp [For Boyd, F.L. Stanton, Harper-Archer and Usher-Collier students, hosted at Harper-Archer Elementary]
Douglass Cluster STEAM-X Summer Camp is a FREE summer program that guides scholars through innovative lessons focused on exploring careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. In this camp, scholars will focus on reading and math while creating hands-on projects, designing robots, dancing, drama, chess, exploring code, and field trips! Limited spaces and transportation available.

KinderCamp: Harper-Archer and Usher-Collier
KinderCamp is an opportunity for children and their parent to learn routines, become comfortable with the school environment, and ensure that they are Day One ready for Kindergarten.

Pre-K Summer Transition Program (STP): Harper-Archer
STP for rising kindergarteners is a full-day, 6 week summer program with a focus on language, literacy and math designed to reduce the achivement gap and increase school readiness. Students must need additional academic assistance prior to entering Kindergarten and the family must meet the income requirements (85% of the state median income).

IMPACT @ Scott Elementary [Hosted at Harper-Archer Elementary]
The scholars of William J. Scott Elementary school will embark upon a quest of a lifetime this summer! We will challenge our scholars to think beyond the classroom and “Engineer a Better World through Social Justice”. Are you interested in having your child be a part of a community of learners who will imagine, explore, create and inspire? If the answer is yes, then Scott’s Power Up 2020 Summer Program is perfect for your family! POWER UP! & “Engineer a Better World through Social Justice.”

Microsoft Launch II at John Lewis Invictus Academy
JLIA invites students, grades 6th - 8th, to continue increasing their knowledge of Microsoft programs that enhance academic growth. Students will be provided a high-quality summer educational experience, offering academic support with a focus on ELA, Math, Science and enrichment opportunities.

John Lewis Invictus Academy Summer Bridge Program
John Lewis Invictus Academy Summer Bridge program will offer a Middle School Preview Experience providing bridge activities and workshops. Students will learn about scheduling, transitions, electives, and grade level families.

Astros Power Up Summer
Get POWERED UP for graduation! Astros Power Up Summer School at Frederick Douglass High offers an opportunity for students to recover credits for courses in science, math, social studies, and ELA. Students will complete coursework through a virtual learning environment with teacher support.

Douglass High School Summer Bridge
Follow the North Star! The Astros Summer Bridge program is designed to provide students with a jump start to their high school experience and to support students academically and socially through their high school journey. Students will have the opportunity to engage with faculty, staff, and other students while being exposed to the high school curriculum in the areas of ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science, CTAE and STEAM.
