HEALing Community Center Care Center at Hollis Innovation Academy
Greetings!
The Healing Community Center school-based health clinic at Hollis Innovation Academy is proud to announce that we are open during the school year! The school-based health clinic at Hollis offers primary pediatric care to ALL children in the APS community. The school-based clinic is a doctor’s office within the school. All the services a child could receive in a doctor’s office within the Atlanta metro area can be provided in the school-based health clinic. Our goal is to help keep students in school and eliminate barriers to health care for all students. Additionally, for your convenience, we can even provide adult medical services to APS staff!
There is a consent form that needs to be signed by the parent prior to the child being seen that will be kept on file for the entire school year. Please call the clinic for more details on how we see children when parents or legal guardians are unable to accompany them.
We accept children who are insured or uninsured. Please have parents check with their insurance provider to make sure the child's health insurance is active prior to his or her appointment. For children without health insurance, there is a sliding scale fee based on the parents' income.
We are delighted to serve as a primary care provider for children who do not already have a pediatrician. For children who already have a primary care home, we are happy to provide supplemental services including sick visits, sports physicals, and school screening forms.
Hours of Operation:
Mondays & Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Our Staff Include:- Maxine Rockhead, Family Nurse Practitioner
