Astros Singers perform at Hartsfield-Jackson international Airport during the 2019 Pianos for Peace Festivival. The event (September 1-22) provides painted pianos located throughout Metro Atlanta's streets and parks for everyone and anyone to enjoy. As one of the largest public art display projects in Atlanta, Pianos for Peace features 88 pianos and impact an estimated half a million Atlantans and visitors this year.
FDHS is one of two schools slated to recieve a baby Grand Piano once the event has concluded. It is the goal of this event to unite and transform communities by building peace through music and education.
