Shonda Jackson Fulton is an Atlanta native and a product of DeKalb County Schools. She has worked in Atlanta Public Schools for over 25 years and has enjoyed virtually every minute of them. During her tenure in APS, Mrs. Fulton has worked as a paraprofessional at Herndon Elementary School and the school secretary at East Lake Elementary School, Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy - Middle, Towns Elementary School, and Harper-Archer Elementary School. The leadership skills, communication skills and management skills that she acquired while serving in these roles, led to her promotion to School Business Manager at Harper-Archer Elementary School at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. 

Mrs. Fulton holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Office Management from Atlanta Metropolitan College; however, she attributes most of her learning to her work experience in APS. She has served on the Leadership Team at CSKYWLA, Towns and HAES. Additionally, she has served as the Title I contact, Facilities Liaison, Safety Coordinator, FTE contact and Communication Ambassador, just to name a few, during her employment in APS. Sitting idle is not an option for Mrs. Fulton.   

Family is very important to Mrs. Fulton.  She is a wife, mother and grandmother, who prides herself in investing in her school family just as much as she does her home family. Establishing a positive rapport with staff, scholars and parents is essential to a healthy work environment; therefore, she works hard each day to incorporate the core values of HAES - to be BOLD, LOVING, ACCOUNTABLE, ZEALOUS, EMPATHETIC.
