Larry Wallace
For more than 20 years Larry Wallace has been a remarkable leader in the field of education. You may know him for this work as the Executive Director of Federal Programs for Atlanta Public Schools or his many years of service to students throughout Metro Atlanta. Larry is passionate about helping school administrators identify and reduce inequities in order to improve student achievement.
Before starting as the executive director, Larry spent two years as a program director supporting the associate superintendent and principals in the Douglass and Jackson clusters. He also served two years as the state accountability manager in Atlanta Public Schools where he was responsible for providing coaching and support to principals around CCRPI and providing tools to monitor performance indicators. No matter which hats he wears, Larry’s goal is simple—empower administrators with the knowledge and skill to drive student achievement.
Fun Fact: Larry is a #GirlDad to three absolutely amazing young ladies. When he is not in a school, he spends his time traveling, volunteering, and being intentional about rest.
