Dale is a native of the great state of Mississippi; he earned a BS in Institutional Management with a Minor in Nutrition from Alcorn State University “Where Knowledge and Character Matter”. He received his MBA from Shorter College. After spending one year in the classroom as a 7th grade physical science teacher, most of Dale’s teaching experience was in the non-traditional setting, as a licensed dietitian, he taught and trained adults in the culinary Arts. Of the many assignments at Atlanta Public Schools, he is most honored to have served as coordinator for the Homeless and the Neglected and Delinquent Program.
His WHY equity is simple, to advocate for those most marginalized and his Why APS is he gets the opportunity daily to make the city, the state, the country and the world better by serving the students and the families of Atlanta.
Fun Fact: Dale is a twin and is number 11 of 13 children. His greatest fear is to wake up to a world without children.
