Cyrus is an experienced Accounting and Information Technology professional with a multi-industry wealth of working knowledge gained throughout his career as an Accountant, Supervisor, Manager and Director. He has consulted with Robert Half International on various projects with Johnson & Johnson, Nokia Siemens, Ryder Logistics and Habitat for Humanity International. He has consulted on two projects with Atlanta Public Schools before being hired as the Accounting Supervisor in the Finance Division. He is currently serving as the Fiscal Manager of Federal Programs.
Cyrus has an BBA – Accounting from Clayton State University and an MBA – International Business from Mercer University. Both Business Schools are accredited by AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. His international business residency was completed in Beijing & Shanghai, China.
Cyrus believes that all students should have the opportunity to equal training, education and success regardless of their socioeconomic status. His motto for working for APS is “I was one of them”. Referencing that he was once a student migrating through the system.
Fun Fact: Cyrus was a DJ in college, and he hiked a part of the Great Wall of China.
