Important Message Regarding your Child's Grades
Good day,
My name is Dr. Clark, counselor for cohort 2026. To date, your child is currently failing one or more classes. Please encourage your child to make up any missed assignments before September 30th. Students earn ½ credit for every class they are enrolled this quarter, which will equate to 2 credits earned by October 10th. Six credits are needed for promotion to the 10th grade. Please check Infinite campus weekly for up to date grades and assignments
Good Morning Families,
Good Morning Families,Allow me to extend my gratitude for your unwavering support of our efforts to strengthen our safety protocols. Listed below is a chart of our discipline history over the course of the year. Despite the major incident that occurred recently, the school has shown a significant decrease in discipline as compared to previous years. Undoubtedly, there is still much work to be done. Know that the BTWHS faculty and staff, remain committed to that work. As a routine safety measure, I have authorized a K-9 unit sweep today. This strategy is a newly adopted district effort to ensure our campus is free of weapons and drugs. The dogs pose no threat to students, staff or visitors and will remain under the supervision of a trained officer. Please expect to see an increase in routine checks of this nature as we work in response to the uptick of campus safety concerns currently sweeping our nation. We will continue to RISE as a school and cluster, meeting every challenge and situation...together!
Much Love,Dr. Angela Coaxum-Young
