Steps to Becoming a Georgia Teacher
If you have not yet completed an educator certification program, please review the steps below to find out what is needed to become a certified teacher in the state of Georgia.
To qualify for a Provisional Certificate, you need employment within our district. With a bachelor’s degree, you can interview and must pass the GACE Content and Ethics Exams. Certification requires enrollment in an Educator Preparation Program.
