Each school year, all full-time employees receive a compensation statement by email at the beginning of their work year. Annual employees receive their compensation statement by the third week of July, and less-than-annual employees receive theirs by the third week of August. 

It is the employee’s responsibility to carefully review the statement and contact the compensation department at compensation@atlanta.k12.ga.us if any information is inaccurate.  

For new employees to APS who have submitted prior work experience, please note, the first compensation statement may be at step zero (0). Employees will receive further communication from the compensation department once their experience is verified. That document will supersede the compensation statement.
