GO Team Elections
Declare your candidacy by February 28
Atlanta Public Schools invites parents, guardians, and staff to step forward and declare their candidacy for the 2026 Spring School GO Team elections.
Serving on a GO Team is a meaningful way to help shape your school’s future, support student success, and strengthen public education. Elected members will serve a two‑year term on the GO Team for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years (July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028). Voting will be in mid-April.
If you are passionate about your school community, we encourage you to submit your candidacy no later than February 28.

Eligibility Requirements
Parent/Legal Guardian Candidates
To be eligible for a Parent/Guardian seat, you must:
- Be a legal parent or guardian on record of a student who currently attends or is expected to attend the school during the 2026–2027 school year
- Not be employed at the school where you are seeking a Parent/Guardian seat
- Be in good standing with both the school and the district
Non-Supervisory Instructional Staff Candidates
To be eligible for a Non‑Supervisory Instructional Staff seat, you must:
- Be a full‑time employee at the school where you are seeking to serve
- Hold a non‑supervisory instructional position
- Be in good standing with both the school and the district

About GO Teams
All APS traditional and partner schools have a GO Team comprised of parents, guardians, instructional staff, and community partners. The GO Team's role is to set and monitor the school's strategic plan, approve the budget, and recommend innovations aligned with the strategic plan.
