To Support the Atlanta Independent School District (APS) in accomplishing its strategic objectives by providing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

The office of Internal Compliance serves a valuable role for the Atlanta Public Schools System by performing financial, operational, investigative and IT audits of APS' departments, functions and processes: and providing consultation on governance, risk and controls.
