    Please Note: 

    Transportation is available to students living in pre-determined boundaries from their Power Up Summer Program host sites. The Atlanta Public Schools transportation policy dictates that bus stops are placed outside the shortest 1 mile navigation of elementary schools, and 1½ mile navigation of middle and high schools.  Students living less than the 1 mile or 1 ½ mile boundaries are assigned to the walk-zone. Read important walking safety tips here.

    STEAM Camp at Finch Elementary for Finch and Perkerson Elementary Students

    STEAM Camp is a fun and engaging four-week summer experience for rising 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students

    Students will engage in daily STEAM block-making, building, creating and a variety of projects utilizing the engineering design process.


    Program Schedule: M-F, 8:30am - 2:00pm

    Students must choose one session:

    Session I = June 4th - 15th

    Session II = June 18th - 28th

    Sylvan All-Star Summer Camp and Afterschool All Stars for Sylvan Middle School students

    Sylvan Middle School summer programming provides a high-quality summer educational experience for students, offering academic support with a focus on ELA, Math and enrichment opportunities.


    Program Schedule: M-F, 8:00am - 4:00pm

    School Summer Academy at Carver High School for Carver High School students

    Carver High School will offer students enrichment opportunities by utilizing "Edgenuity" and implementing the blended learning model. Our model of blended learning will incorporate a combination of face-to-face instruction, technology, and data to increase personalization, engagement, and mastery of essential skills.

    9th Grade Bridge at Carver Early College for Carver Early College students

    The Summer Bridge Program will introduce rising 9th graders to the Carver Early College experience. Students will sample the 9th grade core curriculum, learn college readiness skills, and participate in team building activities.

    Carver Early College Project Success

    Carver Early College Project Success is an intensive four week summer remediation/credit recovery program that will provide students with an opportunity to enhance their critical thinking, reading, writing, and numeracy skills. Through interdisciplinary learning, the students will master curriculum standards, and prepare for success in the 2018-2019 school year.
