    Please Note:

Transportation is available to students living in pre-determined boundaries from their Power Up Summer Program host sites. The Atlanta Public Schools transportation policy dictates that bus stops are placed outside the shortest 1 mile navigation of elementary schools, and 1½ mile navigation of middle and high schools.  Students living less than the 1 mile or 1 ½ mile boundaries are assigned to the walk-zone. Read important walking safety tips here.

For all transportation questions and concerns, contact the APS Department of Transportation at Transissues@atlanta.k12.ga.us or (404) 802-5500.

    IMPACT [Hosted at Boyd Elementary]

The students at Scott Elementary school will embark upon an adventure of a lifetime!  This summer we will be taking a journey of discovery in amazing science projects, robotics, and computer coding.  The students will have opportunities to build their own computers and design their own computer gaming programs.  We will explore the awesome adventures in Georgia at the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, Georgia, Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia and the Tellus Science museum in Cartersville, Georgia.  But that’s not all! Zoo Atlanta will introduce us to creatures unknown.  Micheal Green the Science Guy will amaze us with the unique interactive science experiments, and Jason Paggett will teach us green technology by creating the soil less garden.  We look forward to the students of Atlanta Public Schools joining us for our Summer Power-Up Program located at Boyd Elementary school, grades K-5.
