    Please Note:

Transportation is available to students living in pre-determined boundaries from their Power Up Summer Program host sites. The Atlanta Public Schools transportation policy dictates that bus stops are placed outside the shortest 1 mile navigation of elementary schools, and 1½ mile navigation of middle and high schools.  Students living less than the 1 mile or 1 ½ mile boundaries are assigned to the walk-zone. Read important walking safety tips here.

For all transportation questions and concerns, contact the APS Department of Transportation at Transissues@atlanta.k12.ga.us or (404) 802-5500.

Rising 6th and 7th graders from Young Middle School are invited to join us at Young’s Power UP Summer Program. Young Power Up Summer Program is a hands on, interactive summer camp that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM), to engage and challenge students. Students will be guided through project based learning projects by master educators and trained scientists. Unlike most summer programs that offer remediation and skill recovery, this program will expose students to authentic learning experiences that help them develop their 21st century learning skills while applying their ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies content knowledge. Our program is totally free and transportation, breakfast and lunch will be provided! Spot are limited. Be sure to enroll today.
