    Please Note: 

    Transportation is available to students living in pre-determined boundaries from their Power Up Summer Program host sites. The Atlanta Public Schools transportation policy dictates that bus stops are placed outside the shortest 1 mile navigation of elementary schools, and 1½ mile navigation of middle and high schools.  Students living less than the 1 mile or 1 ½ mile boundaries are assigned to the walk-zone. Read important walking safety tips here.

    Hollis Innovation Academy Full STEAM Ahead [Hosted at Finch Elementary School]

    The Washington Cluster is working collaboratively to provide a program focused on Math and Literacy Support with STEM and STEAM focus with an emphasis on coding.  Field trips and experiential learning will also be a key component across all of the programs. Admissions will be on a first come, first served basis with some consideration of the students’ interest in STEM as a factor in their selection.

    Hollis Innovation Academy STEM [Hosted at Brown Middle School]

    The goal of this program is to provide rising 5th grade students an academic bridge to middle school with an emphasis on STEM.

    MAJ SOARS [Hosted at Finch ES]

    The goal of this program at M. Agnes Jones is to ramp up the knowledge and skills of students who are not on grade level while exposing them to additional STEM experiences.

    Brown Middle School College & Career STEAM Camp

    The STEAM Camp is a fun and engaging four-week summer experience for students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade.  Students will engage in a daily 2.5 hour STEAM block making, building, creating, and a variety of projects utilizing the engineering design process.
