Here’s an exciting opportunity for rising 9th, 10th and 11th graders interested in law! There are spots available and they want to fill them!
The State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program (GDP) High School Pipeline program starts in a few weeks! The pipeline program is a partnership between the GDP, The Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys, and John Marshall Law School. This year’s program will commence on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 and end on Friday, June 21, 2019. Class will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. on each day. It is designed for rising 9th, 10th and 11th graders who are interested in law or attending law school. The selected students will be exposed to various aspects of the law, have the opportunity to meet and interact with lawyers and judges, and participate in workshops such as college preparation, social media etiquette, presentation skills and study skills. The program will end with a writing and oral presentation competition and closing party. And, bonus, they get to spend part of one day at Equifax!
The application deadline is May 22, 2019.
