• Welcome To Our Supplier Diversity Page

The Center for Equity + Social Justice’s Supplier Diversity efforts aim to eliminate discrimination against businesses on the basis of race, color, national origin and gender. Our mission statement is “enhancing contract opportunities for all and promoting regional economic development.”

  • What is Supplier Diversity and why is it important?

Supplier Diversity is a business strategy that ensures a diverse supplier base in the procurement of goods and services for any business or organization. It emphasizes the creation of a diverse supply chain that works to secure the inclusion of diverse groups in the procurement plans for government, not-for-profits and private industry.

Why is Supplier Diversity important to APS?

Supplier Diversity has the power to affect the economic disparities that exist in our communities. Providing equitable access for diverse suppliers and establishing intentionality when fulfilling our mission and vision creates more sourcing options, better business practices and increased job opportunities for all.
