Mrs. Tucker received both the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University. She also has received an Educational Leadership Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Mrs. Tucker taught at Maynard Jackson High School in Atlanta for twelve years where she motivated students from minority populations to enter into engineering careers. She served as the Pre-engineering Academy Dean of Students at Maynard Jackson, Robotics Coach, NSBE Advisor, SkillsUSA Advisor, Technology Student Association Advisor and SECME Advisor. She also has made sure for the last seven years to give back to her hometown community of Tuskegee, AL by directing a STEAM Program free to attendees ages 4-17.
Founder of Purpose, LLC where as a youth advocate and educational consultant she recognizes the need for additional classroom support for teachers, parents and students in order to effectively bridge the gap between low to moderate academic performance, college and career readiness in an effort to decrease Georgia’s dropout rate. She is a Certified Georgia Smart Relationship Trainer, Youth Sex Education Trainer, Georgia Mandated Reporter and Georgia Work-Based Learning Coordinator.
