• Our goal as the Sutton Middle School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to support programs and events that foster personal, social, physical, and intellectual growth for every Sutton Middle School student. We do that by supporting academics, sports, the arts, IB training, classroom needs, and teacher innovation via teacher grants. We can do this together with the help of your volunteer time and your contribution to the PTA Annual Fund.

Our school draws from six award-winning feeder schools that provide a diverse environment full of inquisitive learners and encompass the essence of the International Baccalaureate Programme. The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is about creating international mindedness and educating for life. There are 10 IB Learner Profiles we focus on, which are interwoven into all our programs and offerings: Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-Minded, Caring, Risk-Takers, Balanced, and Reflective. We look forward to partnering with you and your family as we all work to ensure that every child learns and excels in today’s global environment.

Stay connected with all the latest information regarding activities, events and news from our middle school by signing up for the school e-newsletter, The Sutton Source. "Like" us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter (@SuttonPTA), and join our grade level groups on Facebook (search for "NAHS Class of 202X Parents" to connect with other parents in the Sutton community. And please feel free to contact us at the email address below if you have any questions or concerns.

    Thank you for your support,

    What is a Middle Schooler?

    What is a Middle Schooler?
    I was asked one day.
    I knew what he was,
    but what should I say?

    He is noise and confusion.
He is silence that is deep.
    He is sunshine and laughter,
or a cloud that will weep.

He is swift as an arrow.
He is a waster of time.
    He wants to be rich,
    but cannot save a dime.

    He is rude and nasty.
He is polite as can be.
    He wants parental guidance,
    but fights be free.

    He is aggressive and bossy.
    He is timid and shy.
    He knows all the answers,
    but still will ask why.

    He is awkward and clumsy.
    He is graceful and poised.
    He is ever changing,
    but do not be annoyed.

    What is a middle schooler?
    I was asked one day.
    He is the future unfolding
so do not stand in his way!
