All About Me
Mrs. Bingham is from a small town in North Carolina. She moved to Atlanta in 2009 after teaching a year in North Carolina. She attended Forsyth Country Day school kindergarten - twelfth grade. After high school, Mrs. Bingham attended the University of Oglethorpe in Atlanta, Ga. She transferred to East Carolina where she earned a B. S. Ed in Special Education as well as a Specialist in reading. Next, Mrs. Bingham received her Master's degree in Special Education from Walden University.
In 2008 Mrs. Bingham began her teaching career at North West Elementary School where she taught K-5 special education. From 2010-2013 Mrs. Bingham taught in Fulton County co-teaching 3rd and 5th grade special education. In 2013-2014 school year Mrs. Bingham taught in Clayton County at Ash Street (Alternative Placement). 2014-2015 Mrs. Bingham taught in a self-contain Special Education Kindergarten classroom. Currently Mrs. Bingham teaches 3rd grade at Hutchinson Elementary.
Brittany Bingham is dedicated to her work with children. She believes that children should believe that children can learn and that it is her responsibility to make sure she modifies / adapts the standard for access. This belief fuels her as she design and build the most efficient lesson plans to meet each students individual needs. When she is not working, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, Cooley, Brianna and Kymani.
