Dr. Nancy L. Milledge’s

    Educational Biography


    I am currently an English Language Arts’ teacher at B.E.S.T.  Lower Academy. I took a position with Atlanta Public Schools in 2007.  I was force to relocate to Atlanta Georgia due to my mother’s health.

    My education background includes a Bachelors of Arts degree from Talladega College, a Masters of Arts from National Louis University in Tampa Florida, and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Ft. Lauderdale Florida.  I have been in the field of education since 1995. I started out at Central Alabama Community College as an Adult Education Instructor. In 1997 I began to teach middle grade students in an Intensive Learning Alternative Program focusing on Dropout Prevention. I continued to work with adults at West Region Adult and Community Education Center in the ESOL Program (English Speakers of Other Languages).

    I currently hold the following certifications:

    Educational Leadership (P-12), Middle Grades (4-8) [FLD809],  and Middle Grades (4-8) Language Arts [FLD853] Middle Grades (4-8) Social Science [FLD854]
