     Educational Background:

    Ruquanda Epps-Primas, Ed.S. is a certified English Language Arts teacher in the Atlanta Public Schools District. Primas has spent the past 22 years of her educational career in public education serving as an elementary and middle school teacher, K–12 Reading Specialist, 21st Century instructor, School Governance Team member and is certified to teach in the state of Texas, California, and Georgia.  

     Primas has been a member of the Leadership Team at B.E.S.T. Academy Middle School and the 2014-2015 Cluster Team. Today, Mrs. Epps-Primas is actively engaged in After-School All-Stars Program, a PBIS Cohort Member, and 8th Grade English Language Arts teacher at B.E.S.T. Academy (6-12). She has conducted numerous staff development sessions on school improvement, wellness, mentoring, and differentiated instruction, in the past. Mrs. Epps-Primas is a life-long learner and enjoys exploring current information on effective instructional practices and staff development. Primas has a passion to make a difference in the community. She is focused on developing leaders in a collaborative college-career oriented community that motivate students to learn in a rigorous positive learning environment.
