Being a Title I school means receiving federal funding (Title I dollars) to support our school’s existing programs. These dollars are used for instruction, improvement of instruction, and to enhance family/parent engagement! A needs assessment is developed from school data from the previous school year. School leaders identify goals and strategies for student academic growth. Title I schools must share these goals and strategies with parents and families. It is share in 2 ways: in the School-Parent Compact and the Family Engagement Plan.
