APS Summer Academic Recovery Academy (ARA)
APS Summer Academic Recovery Academy (ARA), an essential component of our APS three-year Academic Recovery Plan 2020-2023, is a full-day summer program for elementary and middle grade levels that focuses on academic and whole child support to address learning loss and unfinished learning, as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.Students will receive specially designed instruction in literacy and mathematics in an engaging environment with embedded social-emotional learning. Students will also participate in hands-on activities through Power Up Programming in the afternoon. Atlanta Public Schools will provide transportation, breakfast, and lunch to all full-day participants. We invite you to register your child for Summer ARA through March 31, 2023. SPARK students will be attending Summer ARA at Mary Lin Elementary School this summer! Transportation provided, regardless of home school (SPARK, Mary Lin, or Morningside).
