Grady Student Volunteers for City Council Meetings

Grady High School junior Bria Brown is working with 3 other students: Cate Crutcher, Jack Kast, and Nora Lawler to fight for a safer crossing intersection at 10th and Monroe, where Alexia Hydeman was struck by a car and killed. The group has spoken at City Hall Transportation Committee meetings to present their call to action to the council members. They are looking for 5-10 more people to come to City Hall meetings and a parent to help drive them about 10 minutes to City Hall, once every two weeks. If you or someone you know is interested, email Bria Brown.
