Football
The Blue Hawks kicked off the football season on Saturday, August 24 against the King Middle School Jaguars at Grady Stadium. While it wasn’t a victory, it was their VERY FIRST game as a full team, and the players demonstrated great passion and perseverance!
The cheerleaders did a phenomenal job pumping up the spirit, and the Hollis CREW (faculty, staff, and parents) showed up in full support!
Softball
On Monday, August 26, the Lady Blue Hawks softball team played their first game against Sylvan Middle School at Washington High School. The final score was 12 to 6 with Sylvan winning, but the girls’ determination and perseverance were impressive.
A major highlight of the game was witnessing the energy and support from Washington High School students, who enthusiastically cheered on the Lady Blue Hawks during the game and coached them through plays and positions. They even offered to come to practice and mentor their future Bulldogs!
