Federal Eligibility Application (FEA) Free & Reduced Meal Program

Free and Reduced Price Meals are available to families who believe they may qualify. If your family chooses to apply please complete a "Free and Reduced Meal Price Application Form." The forms can be obtained and returned (completed) to any school office or by clicking the link below. You will be notified of your child's status once the application is been processed. Until notification, you must provide your child with breakfast and lunch or add money to their MySchoolBucks account.

Students are expected to pay the full price for meals until the application has been processed and the eligibility status is sent to the school. Students in a paying meal status who have insufficient funds for meal payment will be allowed to incur and accumulate a charge balance.  The District’s Delinquent Student Accounts Policy can be reviewed at

Only complete one application per family. The information you give will be used to determine or prove your child's eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals. This information may also be used for other state or federally funded school benefits.

Factors considered in the application process are the household size and total household income. HOUSEHOLD SIZE is considered all persons, related or unrelated: Including parents, children, grandparents who live in your home, and share living expenses. The TOTAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME is the income each household member received last month before taxes - this includes wages, social security, pension, unemployment, welfare, child support, alimony, and any other cash income.

Foster Children - In certain cases, foster children are eligible for free and reduced-price meals regardless of your income. If you have foster children living with you and want to apply for them, please contact us.

How do I get an application?
Applications can be completed online by clicking the link below. Your student(s) will receive an application at the beginning of the school year but you may submit an application at any time during the school year. You can also pick up an application at your student's school, please see the school site FEA Coordinator. 

Do I need to fill out an application every year?
Yes, you need to fill out an application every year.

Do I need to fill out an application for every child?
No, please fill out only one application for your family. 

Where do I send my completed paper application?
Please give the completed paper application to the FEA Coordinator at the school.

  • Applications completed online Monday - Friday before 4:30 PM are processed the same business day.

 

  • Applications completed online Monday - Friday after 4:30 PM or anytime Saturday - Sunday are processed the next business day.
