Frederick Douglass High School's JROTC cadets visited Harper Archer Elementary School for “JA” Day. Cadets from grades 9th through 12th were given a specific curriculum for grades 4-5. Activities focused on geography, math, English, and history. One activity consisted of a foreign country “mix and match” exercise where elementary students learned about world trade. This was an amazing experience as many of the JROTC cadets were able to see themselves in the elementary school children and also teach them something new.
