Celebrating Georgia Bus Driver and Monitor Appreciation Day

On October 21, we come together to celebrate Georgia Bus Driver and Monitor Appreciation Day, a special occasion that holds great significance for our school district and community. Our bus drivers and monitors are the unsung heroes of our students’ daily journeys, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being as they travel to and from school.

Bus drivers and monitors do much more than transport our children; they foster a sense of community, provide emotional support, and set the tone for a positive school day. Their dedication and hard work create a safe environment where students can thrive, both academically and socially. They are often the first and last faces our students see each day, making their role crucial in shaping a positive school experience.

Join Us in Showing Gratitude

We invite you to join us in expressing your appreciation. Please take a moment to leave a heartfelt thank-you message for a bus driver or monitor who has made a difference in your or your child’s life. Your words of gratitude will be shared during the breakfast hosted by the APS Transportation Department on October 21, when we will honor our amazing bus drivers and monitors.

Let’s come together to celebrate and recognize the incredible contributions they make every day. Thank you for your support.
