Robotic City Proclamation

Council President Felicia Moore presented a City of Atl. Proclamation to the new Miles POWer Robotics Team inspired by her Moore Girls In STEM initiative for their accomplishments and resilience in the midst of a world-wide pandemic. Led by coaches by Shilda Searcy and Pamela-Faith Jackson, Miles POWer advanced to the GA State Championship after winning a Robot Design Award at the 100SRA Regional Tournament. This inaugural year was underwritten by 100 Scholars Robotics Alliance, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, and Georgia Power.
